Refund Policy

Overview

8AM ("the App") is operated by 8AM Holdings Inc. ("we," "our," "us"). This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for subscriptions and other purchases made through the App. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service.

Purchases Through the Apple App Store

All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. Because Apple handles billing for these purchases, refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy, not by 8AM. We are not able to issue, process, or guarantee refunds directly for purchases made through the App Store.

How to Request a Refund From Apple

To request a refund for an App Store purchase:

Apple reviews each request individually and decides whether a refund is granted. You can also request a refund through the Settings app on your device or by contacting Apple Support.

Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

The length and price of your subscription are shown at the time of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings.

Canceling a Subscription

To cancel, open your device Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select 8AM, and turn off auto-renewal. Canceling stops future charges. You keep access to paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. Canceling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period.

Free Trials and Introductory Offers

If your subscription includes a free trial or introductory offer, you will not be charged the standard price until the trial or offer ends. To avoid being charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or offer period ends. Once a charge has been made, the standard refund process above applies.

Purchases Made Directly Through 8AM

If you ever purchase a product or subscription directly from us (outside of the Apple App Store), you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@8amapp.com. We review these requests on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, if granted, are issued to the original payment method.
